SECONDARY & POST 16

A Place to Reconnect, Learn and Thrive

A structured, nurturing and purposeful alternative to mainstream education, supporting young people to rebuild confidence, re-engage with learning and progress towards positive destinations.

We work closely with schools, families, SEND professionals and other agencies to create individualised pathways that address barriers to learning while maintaining high expectations for attendance, achievement and progress.
KS3 Re-Engagement Programme.

Designed for young people who need the right environment and support to reconnect with education and prepare for reintegration or longer-term AP.

Working in Partnership

AP works best when it works with schools, not instead of them.

Referring schools receive:

Weekly progress and attendance reports

Behaviour and engagement updates

Evidence of learning and qualifications

Review meetings

Clear recommendations and next steps

Reintegration planning where appropriate

Wellbeing, Regulation & Personal Development
Wellbeing is embedded throughout the day, helping young people understand and regulate emotions, overcome barriers to learning and develop the confidence to engage.
Support includes:

Daily wellbeing check-ins
Emotional regulation strategies
Nurture and trauma-informed approaches
Positive behaviour support
Social and communication development
Confidence and self-esteem building
Independence and life skills
Therapeutic and specialist support where appropriate

SEND & Individualised Support
We look beyond behaviour to understand why a young person is struggling.
Each programme considers:

SEND and reasonable adjustments
Academic starting points
Communication and interaction
Sensory and regulation needs
SEMH needs
Attendance and engagement
Strengths, interests and aspirations
Preparation for the next stage
